Never Lose Hope For a Brighter Future

2021 has been a collectively rough year for us all and it’s hard to feel hopeful for a brighter future with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, constant threats of another lockdown, and new restrictions making life even more difficult and now the upcoming holiday season to top it all off.

The stress of all of this along with the anxiety of what could be next has really created what is now being coined “pandemic fatigue”. We’re tired. Tired of being told not to celebrate the holidays with our loved ones or contradictory rules given to us by hypocritical politicians who don’t follow the same guidelines they enforce onto us. It might feel like it’s never going to end, but astrologically, 2020 has been predicted to be a historical year for years prior and there is hope in this sometimes seemingly hopeless situation.

On December 21st, 2020 there will be a planetary alignment with Jupiter and Saturn that only happens every 20 years and for the last 200 years, these alignments have occurred in Earth signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn) but this conjunction will transit into the Air sign, Aquarius. This will truly herald the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

The Age of Aquarius will signal a time for self-reflection, reevaluation of priorities, and doing what is best for humanity as a whole. Aquarius energy represents love, brotherhood, unity, integrity, and all things humanitarian. This energy will affect all of humanity and bridge the gaps that have kept us separated or singled out because Aquarian energy doesn’t focus on individuals but on the well-being of all.

You may be wondering how this conjunction has anything to do with the stress and hopelessness this pandemic has brought upon us all, well Aquarius also signifies science and technology and as we have seen with the vaccine efforts showing positive results as well as advances in scientific research and virtual technology really booming at almost alarming rates.

Some questions to ask yourself as this new age of consciousness begins are:
What habits no longer serve you in your life and what steps can you take to work to change them?

What truly brings you enjoyment in your life and how can you utilize it to increase your personal happiness?

In what ways can you contribute to the well-being of humanity as a whole? This can be as simple as recycling more or contributing to a charity.

The astrological forecast for 2021 shows a lot of social change and humanitarian energy that will really bring the world together and create a lot more unity and equality. 2020 was meant to happen to tear down the walls that focused on our differences and ascend to the level of our connections as human beings. Equality and unity will connect humanity in a very profound way that will promise positive energy on a global scale. This is not to say that there are still some trying times ahead, but that we will get through this together and come out the other side stronger.
